Russell Walker helps companies develop strategies to manage Risk and harness value through Data Science and Big Data - Analytics, as Founder and Managing Director of Walker Bernardo, LLC.
Dr. Walker is Associate Teaching Professor of Marketing and International Business and Director of Experiential Learning in Analytics at the Foster School of Business, of the University of Washington, where he teaches course in Analytics, Marketing, Risk Management, and Digital Strategy.
Dr. Walker was previously Clinical Professor at the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University where be developed and led popular programs on Big Data and Analytics, Strategic Data-Driven Marketing, Enterprise Risk, Operational Risk, and Global Leadership.
In this blog, I share my ideas and research findings on various topics. This includes how companies can best leverage Big Data and Analytics for Data Monetization. I look extensively at Digital Strategy and how firms can created multi-sided business models. I share lessons in Risk Management and Global Insights. As an MBA graduate and MBA Professor, I offer my best tips on Leadership, Innovation, and Career Advice (for recent and not so recent graduates).
You will also find that in addition to these topics, I share ideas on Sports Analytics, Marketing to Hispanics, Food Production, the State of the Economy, Wisdom from Leaders and Presidents, Data Visualization, and my thoughts on successfully running businesses - both big (like Amazon) and small (like restaurants).
